Propagation, production, and shipping of a broad range of conventionaly grown annual and perennial bedding plants as well as certified organic herbs and vegetables. Experience will include some field growing, equipment operation, and general maintenance of 30 greenhouses.

Desire to learn and good attitude necessary. Private applicator and/or commercial drivers licence helpful. 16 hour week minimum

Hourly wages commensurate with abilities. Health insurance for full time only.

Students will participate in all facets of golf course maintenance and will work closely with the superintendent and assistant superintendents regarding all aspects of golf course management. This will include - course setup, mowing, IPM, pesticide/fertilizer calibrations and applications, irrigation and water management, equipment maintanance, proper record keeping and communication.

Interns must currently be enrolled in a turfgrass managemnet program with an emphasis on golf course management.

$11/hr + overtime, on-site housing newly renovated house , GCSAA student membership, uniforms, golfing privileges. New maintenance facility provides a clean and safe work environment, 1/2 mile to ocean and beaches. Commuter train station, to Boston, located across from intern house.

Positive attitude, motivation and desire to learn and grow in the industry. Must have or be able to obtain Massachusetts Pesticide Applicators license within 30 days. Previous golf course experience a plus, but not required.
