Landscaping/Garden Crew

As a member of the Treaty Rock Farm Landscape & Gardening crew you will partake in gardening throughout the Little Compton and Westport area. We focus on the use of Native plants and Sustainable methods of gardening. As a member of our crew you will take part in general garden maintenance weeding, pruning, watering, mulching , as well as plantings and larger garden installations. If you are passionate about sustainable landscaping / incorporating native ecology in Landscaping this is a great opportunity. This is a seasonal position Spring through Early Fall

Those applying for this position must be able to lift 40lbs and work up to 8 hours outside each day they work. Experience with plants/gardening is great but not mandatory! It is preferred that applicants are available to work 2-4 days a week. We do not work weekends.

The starting hourly pay for this position is $18. Aside from wages, this job is a great opportunity to learn about how to implement Rhode Island native plants and ecology into residential landscaping. We have employed Plant Sciences / Environmental students in the past, all of whom said they have learned a lot working for Treaty Rock Farm Landscape & Gardening. The applied knowledge gained working this job while in school helped them immensely throughout their classes.
